"Become" - I poured my heart into every word, crafting a narrative that mirrors my own journey of self-discovery and acceptance. Through the best melodies I could find and some heartfelt lyrics, I shared the intimate turmoil of life's disarray, yet declared it as an integral part of my being. Each verse became a testament to the unpredictability of life, urging listeners to find solace in the music's embrace just as I had. Reflecting on the struggle to balance aspirations with the relentless march of time, I sang of the necessity to become contented beings despite the odds. In every chord and harmony, I sought to convey a message of resilience and interconnectedness, emphasizing the transformative power of love and collective growth. Through this song, I've shared not just my music, but a piece of my soul. I hope it resonates with you on your own path of "becoming"
Much like life itself this song has evolved. The way a child grows to an adult. The face is the same... the smile is the same but we are shaped by time and experience. I look in the mirror today and I see the child but I also see more.
I've had the privilege of singing "Become" countless times across the country in front of many and heard it sang back to me. I've heard stories of what it meant to them and it is humbling and my honor to give it new life. I invite you to celebrate your own journey of self-discovery, embrace vulnerability, find strength in love, and ultimately, evolve into whatever you deem to be the best version of yourself.
